The founder of Seacliff Mechanical, Jason Webber, is third generation in the HVAC-R field.  His training began as a young boy assisting and learning from his grandfather and father.  He has earned respect in the industry from his colleagues and customers as he has provided skilled service and managed service teams over the years.  His 30+ years of experience, combined with the latest field service software, the industry’s top technicians, and a lead by example attitude continues to motivate all of the employees at Seacliff Mechanical. He has created a team that is accountable, focused, versatile, and ready to handle any situation.

When Jason began Seacliff Mechanical in 2019, his wife Anne Webber decided to join the team.  Her background as an elementary school teacher, mom, Girl Scout leader and special education advocate helped form her passion for teaching and learning.  Her mission is to help young adults find their way to the trades. She recognizes the success that talented technicians find in the HVAC/R world and does her best to support that within her role as the Operations Manager at Seacliff Mechanical. Her responsibilities include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Human Resources and Union Liaison.  Anne continues to find ways to stay involved with education serving as a board member for The Prentice School in Tustin and a non-profit that helps support dyslexic students known as Dyslexia Voice.

Jeff Tancre got his start in the HVAC-R industry in 1998 specializing in industrial refrigeration at ice rinks and hospital air conditioning. In 2007, he added marine service work to his list of specialties.  He worked for a Carrier Marine dealer and began advancing his skills on open drive, semi-hermetic, screw compressors and centrifugals. He has traveled the world to assist the US military fleet, Military Sealift Command,  cruise ships, container ships and oil tankers meet their air conditioning and refrigeration needs.  This work has taken him across the continental US, Alaska, Central America, Guam and Singapore. Jeff has a strong background in training and takes pride in the development and advancement of his team.   In addition, he appreciates the challenge of working on a variety of equipment that ranges from controlling the comfort of people to the storage of essential products to the process of manufacturing goods used in everyday life.

Joe Pelayo began his career in the HVAC industry in 2007 with Southern California Air. He had the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to excel in the industry with hands-on training in the field. Through working at commercial properties, he developed his skills and knowledge with medium to large scale refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.  He also worked at Bacco Mechanical Inc., which included the installation of HVAC at major hotels in the Southern California region.

In 2014, Joe started working at a marine offshore company specializing in HVAC work on container ships, cruise ships, and off shore drilling platforms.  After 18 months at this position, he became the lead technician on his first travel job.  Joe was able to travel extensively to other countries while working on US military vessels.  Additionally, in 2018 he received hands on factory training rebuilding Carrier 19XR centrifugal chillers.
